Each man and woman born into this world is a human being and we are made of three Three specific components:
1). The body
This is our physical component of being. It is flesh made from a collection of common mineral elements, and is mostly water and is in harmony with the nature and spirit of this world. It grows, matures then begins to deteriorate. Eventually dies then it decomposed back to its component and remains a part of dust of the world. The body is a part of you, but its Not All of what defines Who you are .
2). The soul
This is who we are. It is a part of our Spiritual Component. This is our Individuality. When our flesh dies our soul goes on living forever. Our soul will leave the body.
3) . The Spirit
This is a little more complex to explain. Every man, woman even a baby is born with a sinful nature. Adam’s transgression and by the virtue of his disobedience. We inherited his sin nature. In order to be saved our Spirit must be “Reborn.” The unsaved man or woman who have only the “First Birth (Borne from the biological mother) are in eternal danger. Since the body and soul of the unsaved man or woman are attached or connected to the dead spirit of this present world .
When this world’s physical elements and Spiritual components (including death ) are cast into the Lake of fire (Revelation 20:13 -15) those eternal souls, living or already dead will perish with them. We can’t change ourselves from this nature, But God can change us. If we accept His gift of Salvation by His grace. The key word is “Believe,” that Jesus is the Son of God, receive His forgiveness for being a sinner, and accept His “free” gift of eternal life. God’s plan of Salvation also requires faith in Him.
So what exactly is the difference between the relationship of unsaved soul saved soul ? What does being Born-again actually mean? The answer is when we accept the Lord Jesus Christ as our Savior. This Operation is a Spiritual Circumcision. Your Flesh is Cut away from your soul, and you are given God’s Spirit by the Transforming power of the Holy Spirit. After you have accepted the free gift of Salvation through faith in the shed blood of Jesus Christ, and as you grow and mature. You will begin to notice some changes in how you think. You will find that your heart or soul grows more and more in agreement with God and His Law. However, your Flesh will still want to go the way of the world. No Christian is perfect in the flesh. As you go through this life you will sometimes give-in to those feelings and will sin. The flesh of Christian people still commit to sin after they are saved. In 1 John 1:8 says, “If we claim to be without sin ,we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us (NIV).” Meaning, it indicates to the sin nature, and it mentioned to self-deception. After you are saved , and as your heart understanding about God’s Love grows in your Christian walk, you will begin understanding the effects of sin and lawlessness on yourself, and others. As you begin to love others as you have love yourself , you will find that you are changing. That change comes from the heart by the indwelling Holy Spirit and the grace of God by faith in Jesus.
Physical circumcision is Permanent and cannot be reversed. Once that flesh is cut away ,it is gone forever. The same analogy applies to circumcision of the heart. Once that body of flesh is cut away your soul can not be reattached to it. Salvation is the free Gift of God and eternal. It is not earn by good works. In Galatians 2:16, know that a person is not justified by the works of the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith in Christ and not by the works of the law, because by the works of the law no one will be justified (NIV).” Once you have given your soul to God it is forever. If you have accepted Jesus Christ then you are Loved of God. You don’t have to worry about holding onto God because He will hold unto you. In Romans 8:38-39 states, “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord (NIV).” It means, that this love of God extended to us is made possible only by Christ Jesus, and what He has done for us in the Cross. Once again this is God’s love for us which never hesitate because we are in Christ Jesus.
In John 3:18, “Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe stands condemned already because they have not believed in the name of God’s one and only Son (NIV).” In short, in order to redeem humanity that Salvation is never by works, but greatly by grace through faith in Jesus Christ with the Cross ever the object of that Faith.
To God Be the Glory!!!.
